Homemakers are the ones who do most of the planning and arranging of almost everything in the home. They are the most important personality in the whole family and the whole familys activities are centered on the decision of the homemaker. Holding an important role like this is something of great pride though tiresome. From choosing the carpets, the furniture, the cooking utensils, the bedding and whatever needs to be put together to make a perfect home, the home maker plays a very important role. Sometimes she does get a lot of recognition but most of the time it goes unnoticed. Why not try some magic?
Rich fabrics, such as velvet, silk, antique satin, as well as a wide variety of others. It all gets back to the decor you are looking for. These fabrics must always be drycleaned. Having these treatments cleaned on your windows, once per year, will give them added years of attractive life. Curtains may or not be pleated. The window and the style curtain you prefer determine the length and size. Curtains can be draped over decorative rods in one continuous flow creating the look of swag on top with flowing side panels.
The more pleats you have, the greater is the stacking space they require when opened. Curtains, many times, have no pleats and more times than not, remain closed. If they are opened, many drapes have no pinch pleats or very thin ones and take up very little space when open. Drapes require a lot more space when open because the fabric is much thicker, especially if lined. In a limited space, if drapes are to be used, they should be draped and tied back in a stationary position for maximum open exposure.
